In 1984, Mark Zeyher started buying small rental properties in Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester Counties while operating a local contracting business specializing in renovations.
In 1990 after the real estate market collapsed, he decided to start managing other investor’s properties. Handling small commercial and apartment buildings, as well as dozens of single family homes where the owners could not sell but needed to relocate to find other employment.
In 2004 the primary focus became the Property Management business. At that point, Mark received his Accredited Residential Manager (“ARM”) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (“IREM”). Deb Zeyher joined the firm after 20 years as a legal assistant in a very active real estate, corporate and estate planning law firm outside of Chicago. Thus, Zydema Property Management, Inc. was formed.
